About Crew Training Solutions

Crew Training Solutions is a dedicated maritime training school serving the superyacht and commercial maritime industries from its base in Palma de Mallorca, one of the Mediterranean's primary yachting hubs. The school covers the complete spectrum of professional crew qualifications, from entry-level STCW Basic Safety Training through to MCA Master certificates and advanced medical courses, making it a single-stop option for crew at every stage of their career.

Courses are delivered across multiple accreditation frameworks. The school holds approval from the International Yacht Training organisation (IYT), the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA), the Marshall Islands flag state, and the International Association of Maritime Institutions (IAMI). The IYT/MCA Master of Yachts Limited qualification has been recognised by the MCA since 1998 for Red Ensign yachts and code vessels, underlining the school's longstanding position in the industry.

In addition to its Palma de Mallorca centre, Crew Training Solutions also operates from Naples, Italy, giving yachting crew in the Western Mediterranean flexible options for scheduling their training around busy seasons. Both classroom and online delivery options are available for selected courses.

Mallorca is an island; cars must arrive by ferry from Barcelona, Valencia or Dénia, or be hired locally on arrival. The Ma-19 motorway connects the airport to Palma city centre in around 15–20 minutes. Paid parking is available throughout central Palma; the old town has limited street parking so car parks (e.g. near Parc de la Mar) are recommended.
