Fleetwood Ferry Landing operates a short local passenger ferry across the River Wyre to Knott End, run by Wyre Council, with sailings approximately every 30 minutes. There are no international or inter-island ferry services currently operating from Fleetwood.

From the south, take the M6 north to J32, then the M55 west, following signs for Fleetwood at the end of the motorway. The town sits at the northern tip of the Fylde peninsula. Free public parking is available at several locations in the town, including near the seafront and market area.
