About Bluewater Yachting in Palma

Bluewater is a well established name in the superyacht industry, combining a crew training academy with crew placement and yacht management services. Its Palma training centre sits at Calle San Juan 4 in Palma de Mallorca, one of the busiest yachting hubs in the Mediterranean. This puts Bluewater's courses close to where many crew live, work and join vessels.

For new and green crew, the Palma centre offers the recognised entry requirements together, including STCW Basic Safety Training, RYA Powerboat Level 2 and the IAMI GUEST Introduction to Superyachts and Yachting Life. Crew can build from this foundation through deck and navigation courses such as Efficient Deckhand, GMDSS and the Yachtmaster modules, engineering courses including the Approved Engine Course, and interior and galley training such as Food Safety at Sea.

Bluewater's training is delivered under recognised maritime accreditations including the MCA, the RYA, the PYA GUEST interior programme, the Nautical Institute and the SQA, with PADI diving courses also available. Courses can be booked through Bluewater's online course search, and a number of options are also offered through e-learning.
