WHAT IS THIS COURSE?

Course Overview

Radar Observer (Unlimited) course qualifies navigational watch officers to operate radar without restrictions on vessel size or trading area. Full STCW A-II/1 compliance for all deck watch duties.

Prerequisites

  • Valid USCG Officer of the Watch or Chief Mate license
  • Completion of Bridge Resource Management (BRM) or approved STCW course
  • Demonstration of bridge watch competency
  • Medical fitness (USCG/STCW standards)
