WHAT IS THIS COURSE?

Course Overview

This hands-on simulator course trains oil tanker personnel on safe cargo handling, loading/unloading procedures, and specialised equipment operation. It covers operational practices required for tanker crews and completes technical competencies required under STCW regulations for oil tanker operations.

Prerequisites

Sea service on tanker or merchant vessels (typically 6 months)
Basic marine knowledge
No formal maritime qualification required to start, though prior vessel experience advised
