About Camper & Nicholsons Crew
Camper & Nicholsons is one of the oldest names in yachting. Its heritage traces to a Gosport shipyard founded in 1782, the firm formalised as Camper & Nicholsons in 1863, and its international brokerage arm began in 1961. The crew service places people on both private owner and charter yachts, describing its work as connecting exceptional crew with the world's finest yachts.
Candidates register as crew through a dedicated sign-up, which asks you to agree to the general terms and conditions. The site adds an Academy and a frequent questions section aimed at people newer to the industry, and frames placement as building a fulfilling career at sea rather than filling a single job.
One caveat. The public pages do not spell out the registration steps or a free-to-crew statement, so expect to register and then wait to be matched.
No agency should ever ask you to pay to register. They are paid by the yacht that hires through them, never by you. If anyone asks for money upfront to join their books or guarantee a placement, treat it as a red flag. See yacht crew job scams and red flags.
