Alongside its classroom courses in London it runs an enhanced online version of the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Award in Wines on WSET’s Online Classroom. Online courses have fixed start and finish dates but no live log-on times, so the study can be fitted around a rota on board.
For Level 1 and Level 2 the exam is taken online by remote invigilation, and you need a second smart device such as a phone or tablet. The school says online exams are not possible for students in Mainland China or the UAE. Level 3 is studied online, but the tasting tutorial and the exam are in person at WSET School London, 39-45 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3XF. Wines are not included in the online courses; the school sets a minimum number of wines to taste at each level.
