Course Overview

The Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques (STCW A-VI/2-1) is a mandatory refresher for seafarers renewing their certification in personal safety and survival skills. This course ensures crew maintain competency in life-saving equipment operation and survival protocols essential for commercial maritime work.

Prerequisites

Valid or expiring Personal Survival Techniques (PST) certificate
STCW medical fitness certification
At least 12 months sea service
Ability to pass physical assessments in pool and sea environment
