The Radar Observer Recertification course refreshes and validates navigational radar competency for licensed deck officers. Required to maintain STCW A-II/1 certification for navigational watch.

Prerequisites

Valid Officer or Certified Member of Watch certificate
Previous radar observer training or endorsement
One year sea service within last 5 years
Medical fitness (STCW standards)
