Course Overview

IMO Model Course 2.05 qualifying crew for lifeboat operation on commercial vessels. This is a core STCW A-VI/2-1 survival equipment certificate for deck crew, covering practical lifeboat deployment and rescue procedures.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18
  • Valid medical fitness certificate
  • Basic Safety Training (BST) completed
  • Swimming ability (50 metres)
