WHAT IS THIS COURSE?

Course Overview

Third week of the Navigation Aids Equipment and Simulator Training (Operational level) practical component. Focused practical simulator training on navigation systems, ECDIS, radar, and electronic chart systems.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of NAEST(O) theory modules (weeks 1-2)
  • Bridging watch certification (or equivalent)
  • Operational deck experience (minimum 12 months)
