Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) is an OPITO-approved induction course for personnel working in the offshore energy sector. It covers essential safety awareness, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition required for entry onto offshore installations and vessels.

Prerequisites

  • Age 18 or over
  • Valid medical certificate (Offshore Medical)
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • No prior offshore experience required
