WHAT IS THIS COURSE?

Course Overview

Master 100 Tons is a United States Coast Guard (USCG) captain's license for command of commercial vessels up to 100 tons. This course prepares candidates for the USCG written and practical examinations, covering navigation, vessel handling, regulations, and maritime law.

Prerequisites

  • US merchant mariner credential (MMC) with STCW endorsements
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Minimum 1 year sea service in past 5 years
  • Pass physical and medical examination
