Maskinbefäl Klass 8 is a Swedish maritime engineering certificate for Class 8 (unlimited tonnage) motor vessel engine officers. This course prepares candidates for the Swedish maritime authority examinations in marine engineering, meeting international STCW standards.

Prerequisites

Swedish maritime education or equivalent qualification
Minimum age: 21 years
Relevant sea service in engine room
Approved medical fitness certificate
