WHAT IS THIS COURSE?

Course Overview

This HV Management qualification trains senior marine engineers in the safe operation and management of high voltage electrical installations on board. It addresses STCW requirements for chief engineers on larger tonnage vessels.

Prerequisites

  • Chief Engineer Officer rank or equivalent
  • STCW A-VI/4 Part 2 (Management Level) qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marine electrical maintenance
  • STCW Basic Training certificate (or equivalent)
