Course Overview

GMDSS General Operator's Certificate (GOC) is the professional qualification for radio operators working on merchant vessels. It covers the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System and radio telephony procedures required for international maritime operations.

Prerequisites

  • Age 18 or older
  • Competent English (STCW level 3 minimum)
  • Pass the Morse code test (if required)
